moved before yesterday, about 20 horn snails in different color shades to us and I had yesterday the same take a few snapshots:
The animals are currently in a rectangular, placed technology-free "Schneckenvase" with 9 liters of water, soil, gravel and a water plant. They stand on the windowsill in the office and get natural light through the south-west window. Now in the winter this is great enough light but not too much. And it is warm enough by the rising heated air.
The males are not yet agree on whether or not they like the Schneckenvase. Because you can not catch it, because the vase is covered. And it takes up space on the window sill, where it can no longer sit the cats ass. On the other hand, there is something to look at, even if the snails are too slow for the males in order to bind over a longer period of time.
contrast, I love this relative slowness, because that makes the snails to a good photo opportunity. In contrast to the cats that move for my camera far too fast. So I then bridging the time until it gets warmer outside, when I go on rainy days back the grove and simple banded snails in the front yard may photograph.
wishes you a nice Sunday
